Change type to items

Hello, I want to ask how can we change the type to an item that I hade copy from one application to another?I have two types of templates depending on language.Recently was answered my question how to copy items and it was through php myadmin.It was very helpfull but  can you tell me how to apply theese items to another type of template type?Thank you.

Thank you for your answer but Iam not sure how this can work cause in the path you describe I see only theese files you will see on screenshot I attach.Where should I do theese changes?Also why when I choose new item I can select the type of template for the new application but I cannot change the type to items that I coppied to the other application?Thank you.

Thank you for your answer it was very helpfull, about your mention that I cannot select a template I mean the layouts we create and I show you in my images what I mean by that.

Have you tried to create templates for each type of item?

Hello, I just find the way that through phpmy admin we can change the type by changing the slag, thank you very much for your help.
