I'm trying to install the jbzoo.joomla-book.ru demo site

i extracted all the files and when i access to the site directory i get the 500 internal server error

what could be wrong?

 

My server is running on linux with php version is 5.2

Hi

Tell me the error from apache.log file.
It is better to use PHP 5.3.x +

Try to remove (or rename)".htaccess" file in website root.

i renamed/removed the .htaccess file and appears the "forbiden" error

Try to remove "php_value" blocks from your ".htaccess" file (website root)
