You are right... But from the final user experience it could de confusing have two buttons so close. So the way we solve this matter (for the teaser display at least) is opening an additional store with a "pop up + buttons"only instead of the complex template, and it work perfectly on that store.

 

Final questions:

 

1. What version of JBZoo is the "related products" elements for? Would it work the same if we upgrade to the latest version?

    We are currently running Joomla! 3.1.5, ZOO 3.1.0 and JBZoo App Version 2.0.2 Pro - 2013 09

 

2. How can we solve this? When we try to save each product it shows the next error:

 

"  1054 Unknown column 's2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.is_hit' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku (s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.hash, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.is_new, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.is_hit, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.is_sale, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.item_id, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.element_id, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.sku, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.type, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.price, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.total, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.currency, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.balance, s2j3_zoo_jbzoo_sku.params) VALUES ('275', '0', '0', '0', '275', '256547bc-216e-4755-9ea1-c4a2dd01745f', '275', '1', '0', '0', 'USD', '-1', ' {\n    \"param1\": \"\",\n    \"param2\": \"\",\n    \"param3\": \"\",\n    \"description\": \"\"\n}')   "

 

How ever it saves the product, but it happens on every product.

 

3. What does the "JBZOO_JBPRICE_BASIC_HIT_BOOL" check box inside the product template does? It has a NO or YES check box option, What is this for?

Of course, I made this solution for last JBZoo version 2.1.2

Recomend you upgrade you website. Don't forget to create backup.

It must solve all you problems.

So you can remove another one or change it.
