500 Internal Server Error When Installing jbzoo 1.6.1

I installed your free package: jbzoo_free_pkg_2.0.zip and it installed great and love the product so I purchased your Pro subscription and downloaded all the files for jbzoo 1.6.1

Following your installation instrutions when I try to install  the  jbuniveral thru the zoo app upload I get a 500 server error.  Now when I go to zoo I get a 500 server error with this message:

Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in D :\HostingSpaces\WorkSmart\zootest.worksmartservices.com\wwwroot\media\zoo\applications\jbuniversal\framework\helpers\jbupdate.php(1) : eval()'d code on line 1

I am running the latest zoo: 3.0.13 with Joomla 3.1 and need to get this loaded to start work on a project tomorrow.

As I said your free version installed without a problem.  I did uninstall the free version to install the pro version.

I did not try another host since the free version of your software installed without an issue, it seems that the pro version would also.

I installed it on a different server and it worked fine, still not sure why the free version loaded and the pro version did not.

But I do have an addtioanl question.

Really only need the cataloging without the shopping cart.   Could I just use the free 2.0 install and then use the other componets like the filter module with it .   The free version ot me is basic but I like to start on basics and build.  I am very new to working with zoo and like to keep things a simple as possible and learn as I go.  Could I then add the shopping cart components later if needed?

What would be the down side of using the free2.0 version with the Pro addons?
