An ongoing frustration with ZOO is the layout of the admin editor. About 40% of the width of the screen is taken up, quite unnecessarily, by the Details, Metadata, Template, Tags accordion.

This is fine when I'm working on a 25in screen but on a 13" laptop screen it means the content editor boxes on the left side of the screen are too small to be useful.

I use Joomla 3 and the ISIS admin template (I've tried hathor too) with the jce editor.

This is ridiculous design.  And is not an issue with native Joomla article editing.

I've mentioned this on the Yooturd forum but they never respond to anything (like the fact widgetkits have no save & close button) that isn't on their own current agenda.

I realise this is not a JBZOO issue it's a Yooturd issue but just wondering if anyone has any suggestions about hacking the layout or a different template / editor combo that might work?

Hmm...Sometimes I use Zoo admin. panel on my 10" netbook (with Hathor template) and don't feel any inconveniences.

What do you mean by saying "content editor boxes on the left side of the screen are too small to be useful"?

All you can do here - change native styles in the /components/com_zoo/assets/css/ui.css
