Hi,

 

I was looking for some informations in managing a multilanguage site, but i didn't found anything.

 

I do need three languages: ge, en and es. some terms are not translated in the jbzoo item view! what can i do to translate? do you have a documentation?

 

ZOO is already updated with the actuall language files.

Have you tried Zoolingual ext by ZooLanders ?
JBZoo compatible with Zoolanaders extensions.

Unfortunately, JBZoo doesn't have special functions for multilanguage websites.

yes i did and use Zoolingual.. but I have two problems the one is the language for the core elements....

I build two identical installations the one with JBzoo the other without and JBzoo neeeds to much time to load the frontpage and the category linkt. don't know why but in zoo it is much faster.

Oh possibly I found the problem:

 

I switched off the google currency download and made a re-index ( for oonly one item) and now the performence is back.

 

sorry for confusion...

 

But please have a look into the translation of core elements? is it possible to copy the englisch file in jbzoo  name EN-en.... and rename it into ES-es..... and to translate it? will the system load the spanish file?

Of course, Zoo without JBZoo will be work faster.
I think it's an obvious fact because JBZoo - is really big extension for Zoo.
And of course, your site will be running even faster without Zoo

Try to copy and rename en-GB/en-GB.com_jbzoo.ini to es-ES/es-ES.com_jbzoo.ini
Please, download language file from the page http://www.yootheme....d?layout=single
And install it onyor website.

Further, you need to enable in the Joomla language configuration install and enable spanish language.
After that, your website is ready for translating and for Zoolander's ext
