I have long sought which was delaying the ads from my site http://hortus-botani...tanique-plantae.

I finally discovered that it is the activation of the element JBZOO previous / next link which was blocking this display. How do I solve this problem?

Hello,

 

Prev/next element just adds two links to an item, I don't think it can affect your ads in any way. In what template did you put this element? To the "full"? I don't see it in your items right now. If it's disabled now, please, enable it so I can compare how the website works.

As I see, there are no problems with ads. But the item itself loads very long. The ZOO "prev/next" element indeed can increase the loading time of your items if there are a lot of them. Try enabling cache for your website.

I support the Extension: Alternative PHP Cache (APC) and gzip compression in the CMS and the template but it does not change anything

Did you try to enable global Joomla cache or cache plugin?

Hello,

Element Prev/Next Link is feature from Zoo and it uses function getPrevNext from
administrator\components\com_zoo\tables\item.php (Yootheme Zoo API)

As you can see this SQL query, his speed depends on the amount of items in category.

So you can resolve problem by two ways
- optimize your current website's structure
- or don't use this element because it realy resource intensive.
