Hello,

I would like to create 3-4 fields (3-4 different columns) where there will be drop down menus with the possibility of multi-select options and the saving of the user's choices. If i am not mistaken this has to do with the powered filters described on your website and the JBZoo search. I would like to ask how exactly i should start and organize these fields. Initially, do i have to create different items for each field and when exactly do i have to insert the possible options in the multi-select drop-down menu? Are there any JBZoo application features needed

Thanks in advance,

Tet

Hi Tet,

You should create 3-4 select in item type here

After that configure JBZoo Search layout for module

And select layout in Joomla module (JBZoo Search)

Hi,

Thanks very much for your answer. And when trying to integrate the whole app to an article for example?

I mean, loading the jBZoo search module does not work.

Sorry, not right now but if necessary i will. I just followed your steps and everything ok. But i want now to have these fields with the drop-down multi-select menus into an article or even the homepage.

While using  modules in Joomla, i was able to load them from the editor into the article and it worked fine.

That it is an app using different modules (or plugins), do i have to load them separately or it is fulfilled in another way?

Drop-down selects are fields from ZOO item.

That fields you should set in position in the JBZoo Search layout .

And Joomla module show layout with fields.

This is general way. You can see examples on our demo websites.

Sorry, maybe I don't understand you question...

Hello,

I have followed your instructions. I put the custom drop down menu fields created, at the positions in JBZoo Search layout for each element.

After that i chose the default template in JBZoo search module and next to that in Module Assignment i selected the menu tab where i want this to be shown into the article.

I still can't make it show in my article. I also tried to load the JBZoo search module from the editor inside the article but no success. What exactly am i doing wrong? I mean when i edit the JBZoo search layout (default) i just drag and dropped the custom fields in the position tab .

Now, how i will make it appear in my article?

Thanks,

Tet

Hi,

I'm sorry. I don't understand you. Why do you want to load filter module in the content ?

You can use Joomla plugin - load position with macros and module id or position name.

Hi,

I just want to have my drop down files created with the JBzoo app and configuring the JBZoo search module, presented in my article.

As mentioned previously, i have created it and just want it the simplest thing. To make it appear in my website.

I configured the positions in the layout and and assigned a menu tab in the JBZoo search module. Obviously, i haven't understood how to use my application in the website. Sorry for asking again.

Hi,

Option list in a dropdown select get data from items.

I guese you should save some information on your website.

Filter show items only from database.

For example,

I added new field with options into my item type

368n_200x0.png

Save some items with new option

x7fd_200x0.png

Select one of item layout to show option value on webste. Full for detail page or teaser for category

Check catalog template - http://llfl.ru/9jle6z

And find full layout for your template  - http://llfl.ru/hmurd9

Save element on position - http://llfl.ru/mexka6

http://yootheme.com/...ayout-positions

http://yootheme.com/...-with-positions

Select one of module layout. I got default

cdfc_200x0.png

Drop element to position

r8jt_200x0.png

And create new module with default layout

48k8_200x0.png

Option list get from database index (not element config)

Can you give me your website url and CP access. I try to find problem or help you to configure it.
